Done the hoop-jumping, done some housekeeping, made a meal, oiled and cleaned and looked after what I could on my new spinningwheel. Looked some more at finding the right bushings.
May have to skip the bushings for now, and go for a round 3mm pu driveband only.  :-\

Yesterday.  Job Interview.  Important, prestigious job.  Dry mouth.  Too much fumbling around with my answers.  Don't think she liked me.  One of 3 candidates.  Will know more on Friday.

Well, I would take the job even if it meant a solid year of living hell.  It's only one year, and there are only 9 jobs in my entire state harder to get.  A one-year sentence is worth it for the doors it would open.

That being said, I investigated her by speaking to the person who has the job currently, and was told that she is very kind and generous with her time and she seemed perfectly nice to me.  So yes, I would like to work for her (I think).

Well that's good. Should you get it, you know you can expect relatively good things. When will you hear back?

Today I did the usual...cooking, cleaning, writing, working, teaching, took DD to her appointment, packed us a picnic and we laughed so hard while eating, we were crying. All in all, an incredibly good day.  8)

Worked. Took the tube to Leicester Square and had something to eat. Then walked to Foyle's and spent an hour there, browsing.

Three candidates.  Me on Monday, second one yesterday, last one today.  Should hear decision tomorrow. She is giving a speech at my school this afternoon, so I am showing up, sitting in the front row, and looking attentive.  Keeping my face in her mind every last minute that I can.
