Loads of washing up. Nipped to the supermarket for flour and a few other bits, and sneaked a bottle of beer into the basket while I was there.  :orly:

Bit of grocery shopping, bit of gardening, bit of getting kids active. And went to a jubilee dinner party at work.

Downstairs housekeeping. Floors, tables, kitchen, hallway, "bathroom" all got cleared and cleaned/cleansed.
(Yesterday I had given the upstairs bathroom a really thorough scrubbing, with bleach, including ceiling, so I am on a roll.)

Afternoon I had visitors. Two "long distance" friends of my youngest, and the mother of one of them. Did not know the mother really well, only saw her once. But we had a good afternoon together, where we both had been dreading it beforehand.
