After weeks away, I returned to the gym.  1 mile, 12 minutes 30 seconds.

Bought myself a bag full of apples, last week, that turned out to be way too sour to eat, say, raw.. so.. I've made an apple-pie this afternoon. Okay, my two nieces helped a little bit.

Still it has to cool down properly before I can remove the pie-shape-thingy.. but this evening, after I got me some double cream from the supermarket, Iz going to gain some weight, I suppose.

No! The pie is mine! ALL MINE!

*starts to laugh loud and sadistically*

Nah, none of the above.. I'm going to bring p/m half of zhe pie to them tomorrow.

First I have to try it first though. One never knows.. I might (don't think so) have f*cked it up.

Oh, and none of us (three) are weight-gainers really.

Okay, it's been confirmed and definitely decided.

Thanks QV.. and not to tease.. it's delicious too. Like really. Had a big wedge of the pie with (good) double cream of top of it, along with a coffee, a little earlier this evening.

Um, spend over half an hour cleaning up my messy kitchen (incluis the dishes) though.. but that's worth it, I reckon.

I dunno, I might just give lutra a bit of competition. I can work wonders come the autumn, bringing as it does, the mushroom picking season. Tested out my shiitake and beef steak chilli, seasoned with detoxified fly agaric and given some extra kick with peppery boletus on my next door neighbors, seemed to go down a treat. Eaten enough myself to confirm that it is indeed, very satisfying, and very tasty, the sort of hearty warming winter nosh that makes one want to go back for several bowls of seconds/thirds/fourths :D

I'm not much of a mushroom fan.  If I have to eat them I prefer them cooked to raw, and not on pizza.
