Hope your sister is fine.

Thank you, Hykey. Um, coming week there will be more tests in the Daniel den Hoed/Erasmus hospital and they're hoping it's possible to operate now (after three chemo-sessions instead of having to do so after the planned six). There's a worrisome tumour near her uterus and the doctors hope it shrunk enough to be able to get rid of it.

(Needless to say maybe but.. ) I sincerely hope she's going to be fine too.

And, yesterday's dinner (here) was nice and cosy. We laughed for a bit and ja, it was nice/good. Oh, and I made pilaf as the main course.. which (duh) isn't a pasta dish. Soup and the tzatziki were appreciated too.

Lutra - Sending good wishes and strong thoughts to you and your family.

Had b'fast at the diner - chocolate chip pancakes, bacon and egg (one).
dumpster dived - only a very nice large cookie tin (empty)

A walk may be nice.

Spent some time writing a whitepaper. Fed the family. Tried to teach my daughter basic driving skills.

Trashpicked a really nice Electrolux upright :Icequeen:.
Stopped at a yard sale, not a lot there.
Picked up boy at his friend's house.
Burned a bunch of branches and pampas grass on the hill. Should have filmed it...one stand of grass is approx 6' wide or bigger, the deer bed down in the center of it in the winter, flames must have shot up 10 ft. Fire...good. :zoinks:

Went for a walk in the thrift store.  That $27 sure went fast.

Went to the dump and unloaded 1000lbs of old nasty insulation
Sucked about another 500lbs out of the attic I am working on

Bought some (proper) soil for my square meter of balcony garden and three little packages of seeds. One with radish, one with spring onion and one with turnip-tops. The balcony garden is now ready and filled with the soil. Still the top bed (of three) has no plants in it. Still haven't decided what sort of plants I'm going to put there. Thinking about some flowers butz..

Also filled the biggest (ceramic) pot I have with the good soil and going to put 'me smøkispliffium' plant in it later on.

Showered, fed meself and the birds outside, made a coffee, brushed my teeth and I've done some other little things..
