I took my mom to the supermarket and she shut her thumb in the car door!  It really bled.  Ahhhh  Poor Mrs 'B'

She seemed to be ok after the nice young first aider in the shop sat her down and gave her a cup of tea.  He was really sweet to her.  I hated seeing my mum hurting  :'(
My oldest did that in a toy shop parking lot last year *shudder*

New car door?

Good for the first aider to get her a cup of tea.

Spent just under hour hours up in an attic where it was about 130F {54.4C} with three short breaks.  I drank about two liters of water :zombiefuck:

I had a MRI this morning and saw the physical therapist and doctor, who looked at the MRI with me and said that it looked good to him, but we will wait and see what the radiologist says.

Also, some guys came to fix our sprinklers today and it feels like I made a million trips up and down the stairs to turn the water off and on.

Was the MRI for your knee? I have had one done on my knee many years ago, back when MRIs probably cost a lot more than they do now.

Yes, it was on my left knee, which I injured a few months ago.

This was apparently a lower cost MRI place according to their website, although I don't know what it cost.

Made 5 croquettes ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croquette ) from the (nice) meat of two chickenlegs, ate one on a bun, did some stuff in the garden, showered, ran some errands, and vacuum cleaned my bedroom. Am, now, sipping on a glass of wine.. and watching a docu about Pearl Jam on the telly.

Hung out with the kids and played with the dog. Had a nap. Took son to his first overnight (where he's not staying with family) and he'll be having a 1 night camp out with his autism teen group. It's at a cool museum that's on an old farm. They're having a bonfire tonight and tomorrow morning going on a scavenger hunt using GPS systems. He started off being nervous but ended up being really excited. Hope it goes well.

I've cleaned the windows of the kitchen (outside/plus main entrance door window too) this afternoon. They were due. Did a bit of shopping (also groceries) later and made dinner after that. Now, if I can be arsed to do so, I could get my clean clothes out of the dryer, start folding them and put them away but ja, with this heat (26*C inside the house, atm) I'll think I'll 'push' that little task to tomorrow.
