What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Got the new twin bed for our new guest room.  Hauled up the stuff 2 flights of stairs and set it up on my own.  I may be old, but I'm not weak!

I checked my weight when I woke up. I'm annoyed, scared, pissed off, and need to do better.

Woke up did my usual stuff around the house... Just wished Colbert had an episode last night

Began burning the sticks and branches that fell in the yard over the winter

Ordered a Jimmy Johns, now I'm hiding in my room until Writers Group tonight

I cleaned inside the fridge and made a grocery order.

Went for a walk that took 23+ minutes from my house.

I put away the grocery order and washed the windows. I really do love clean windows.

I've thought about getting someone in to wash our windows because no matter how thoroughly I clean them, they're never fully clean.

My only tip for cleaning windows would be the same tip for cleaning anything, and that's to do a little bit often, because things are faster and easier to clean if they don't get very dirty in the first place.  I buy the cheapest glass cleaner I can get from Walmart, spray them, wipe them, and then quickly go over them with a dry cloth to avoid streaks. I can do the whole house inside and out in about 1.5 hours, but that includes the sunroom which is as much windows as the rest of the house combined, if not more. Back in the day, I used to only do windows once per year while spring cleaning. It was a horrible time consuming task because the outside of the glass would be so dirty, I had to first use dishsoap and hot water and use the scratchy side of a dish sponge to scrub them first, then spray and wipe with glass cleaner, and then polish with a dry cloth.

Yeah ours are at the one year stage. The front ones aren't too bad but the ones out the back and side are pretty awful. When the weather cools (next month) I'll have a go at the worst ones. Thank you for explaining what you do.
