What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Couldn't sleep until 3:03 am... went to church with my parents, took a nap, and had lunch... now I'm feeling slightly refreshed(?)

Drove around the city I grew up in and it's changed a lot,  more like New York than Connecticut

We had plans to attend the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra "Symphony On The Prairie" series for the Stevie Wonder tribute night. Tickets were $26/per.

Then I found out that, instead of $10 for parking my Chevy Traverse, it being an "over size vehicle"  I would be charged $40 for parking.
Fuck That!!
It's just my God Damn car!!
I don't fit in one of those squishy little tiny import things and I never will. I'm not a little puny fellow! I drive an actual full sized car, not an oversize truck.

I did my usual weekly chores and for my big task I cleaned the grout. I also cleaned the dog beds because I clean dog beds on grout day. I still haven't done the boy's room since he's sleeping right now. He said he's going out tonight so that means he'll be up earlier than usual, and I can do it this evening instead of waiting until tomorrow.

When they say an Ice Cream flavor is "Limited Edition" then yes.... it's obvious that "Limited Edition" will not be around anymore.... especially if it's my favorite flavor

That is why I am hesitant to try limited edition stuff,  that said I tried the Coca Cola Dreamworld it's like some dissolved a roll of tropical fruit lifesavers in a coke

The Zero Sugar option was amazing! Almost had a tropical twist to it though.

I tried a really nice caramel/vanilla ice cream from Baskin Robbins (an ice cream shop), shortly after that the shop closed for good. So no more of that amazing ice cream.

Sugarbutt was out most of the day so I tried to stay busy so I wouldn't get anxious. I cleaned out both freezers and the pantry cabinets. I decluttered some of my clothing and toiletries. I painted the inside of the linen closet doors, since I never did that back when I was painting before and I still had some paint left over. I also washed the outside of the front door. I usually sweep the front door alcove every Saturday but it's been so rainy and humid lately, it was all damp when I tried to do it yesterday. After I swept it, I went ahead and scrubbed it down because it looked really dirty, but right now everything outside looks dirty and it's just not time yet to do anything about it.
