She just called and she is released after a mountain of paperwork is complete.

She looked great this afternoon. Walking without stumbling or convulsing is way big!

We should have her back home in a couple of hours.

Three prescriptions to pick up and a week of rest, then back to surgery for the finale.
Heading over there to wait in an hour or so.

Ms DD is home and had a shower, some food and now down for some rest.

Went back out to grab all her 'scripts.

Looking good, here!

rested and recuperated, been feeling like crap lately.  Watched a gentle rain that lasted almost all day.  Pondered the imponderable.

Took a walk on my usual route and picked up the trash.  Fixed an "ancient" Chinese style wind chime that I rescued from FIL's barn.  Where it had hung in the dust and dirt for decades.  Had a mug of tea and now it's time to go thru the checking account statements.

I cleaned out the robovac. It really should be done once per month, but I think it's been a lot longer than that. I should probably pair it with some other task so I don't keep forgetting it. I don't have anything else that gets done monthly, but at least it would get done every two months.  :dunno:

Today was the last day, and I took it in stride... I'm happy for the next chapter in my life.

Work. Work. More work. Did I mention work?

I went to get blood drawn for my annual lab work. The technician took my papers and then handed one of them back to me. She said, you can keep that one and tell your doctor you don't have a prostate.  :lol1: I told Sugarbutt I'm going to need him to check that for me tonight.  :zoinks:

The upcoming surgery will bring this drawn out episode to conclusion. We are all set for next week. One more infusion, some bloodwork and finish the pre-surgical med preparation and this will come to an end.

The specialist made us very aware just how close to death she really was when she was admitted for care.

Admonishing warnings repeated several times, do not wait to seek medical assitance if you have fever and vomiting for more than twenty four hours. That's not just another flu!
I'm putting this out for all of us to be aware. Ills are not always what have happened before. Sometimes it's much more complicated.

We were very fortunate that things went in our favor.

Cleaned out the car for the long drive tomorrow

I've done my weekly house cleaning stuff. There's still some laundry running but it's just towels and cleaning rags. I need to figure out something to do the rest of the day. Sugarbutt is out and about and the boy is already sleeping, so I'm alone and I'll end up having anxiety if I don't keep busy. It's already too hot for working outside so I'll probably do the cars tomorrow.  :dunno:

I decided to clean cabinets and drawers since it's next on the schedule. I didn't really want to do that today because I had already cleaned the floors. I don't always clean inside of every cabinet because some of them never seem to need it. I did them all last time, so today I only did the ones that always get done. I was going to go ahead and do more anyway but Sugarbutt called and said he's coming home early, so I'm going to vacuum the cars when he gets back. I'll see if I feel like washing them after that.  :dunno:

I noticed it was thundering after I vacuumed the cars so I gave up on that. It's good it got cloudy and cooler all of a sudden because the airconditioner decided to start acting up. We're waiting on the service guy now.  :orly:

I cleaned the floors again this morning, not only because of the mess I made after cleaning them yesterday but also because the repairman needed to walk in and out of the house several times while it was raining last night.  :orly:
