Did a little shopping with Mom while Dad had to go to urgent care for his thumb...

Realizing that I need to put myself onto the schedule with Sedgwick/Walmart knowing when my time to come back is actually going to be.

This is a message board, not a ouija board  :zombiefuck:

^ We used to have Social Security, then it was renamed to Centrelink. It's where you go if you need government payments.

All I've done so far today is get up and take meds.

Spent most of the day in meetings. Tried to do actual work in between but wasn't motivated enough. :P

Vacuumed and gave the car interior a quick shampoo and detail. Then I waited till early evening and washed the outside.
I have hopes of going to a car gathering tomorrow.

Having coffee. Contemplating what I have done.

Emptied the pantry and took the shelves out for cleaning painting. Found the 3 inch gap in the side wall covered by a piece of molding that the ants are pouring in from every spring. Wire shelves are beyond hope.

This crap needed done 5+ years ago when I had the energy, but didn't have the time.
Now I have the time, but not the energy.

I'd like to just throw some money at the problem and make it disappear like my neighbor does...but first I need to decide on which bank I should rob and whether the get away vehicle will start again once I get there.  :zoinks:

I finished my weekend tasks and also took a nap. Naps usually make me feel like crap and today was no exception. :dunno:

Played Star Trek Adventures with friends and had a good time. On the way home I stopped in at City Farmers and bought a water fountain for the cats. Rowan has drunk from it already so I'm happy.

Today, I watched some of the most lame Superbowl coverage I have ever seen.

Two weeks ago, I fell from a ladder and broke my radius and ulna near the wrist bones. I am typing one handed but trying to monitor spellcheck as I go.

Things are still going great, mostly. I have my music room set up and enjoying THAT for sure. This other little glitch is not as serious as it might sound. No surgery!
Non displaced fractures, except for the radius. Some manipulation was needed to restore alignment and no drugs for me since I was honest and admitted to having to drive afterward. That setting the bone thing really hurt.

I have fractured hand bones longitudinally when boxing, a ring finger once and a toe, but never anything like this. Kinda suxx, but two weeks in and I am mostly fine. Tucking my shirt in takes forever almost, but managing as well as I should expect, I suppose.

Only a bit of stuff in the old house yet to move, so almost ready to "turn the page" as the song goes.

My new music room is awesome!!
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

Worked all day and most of the evening. Not going to take on two clients anytime soon.

Worked, forgot to take a shower.
