What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Took cub to the park. Spent lots of time pushing little trains down wooden tracks alongside him. Played school and talked about basic addition.

^Sounds like he's going to be an intelligent little one.

This was yesterday, I took my watch to the repair guy at the main shopping centre and while changing the battery was easy for him, programming the time on it took him half an hour. He said in a joking way (I think) that he doesn't want to see it again. It's a Casio Baby-G and I've had it for about 2 years.

I also bought lemon grass oil for my cleaning job. I mix about 5 drops in with each spray bottle of sanitizer. Otherwise, the sanitizer smells salty. I've been doing this for the last year and no one's complained.

Walked the dogs (we have an extra one still). Fed the family. Did the laundry. Researched a report I need to write.

Worked from home today. Was somewhat semi-productive.

Went and  got my space at the show I am selling at this weekend

Took a walk and picked up trash.  Earlier drove to a bus terminal and bought 2 tickets for our Florida trip next month.

Cleaned up a Red Wine spill... of course I made a overdramatic statement:

Off work to paint the bathroom. Insisted the contractors leave that part out of the quote. Partly to save money, cause it's the only part I know well how to do. Partly cause the last bozos to paint that room did such a hack job that it was constantly annoying the shit out of me, and that is not what I want in my own bathroom.  Also I have very specific preferences about colour.

Got the primer done, now making lunch while I wait for it to dry and then it will be time for another trip to the hardware store.

Worked all day, fixing stylesheet issues for a customer and doing an estimate for another.

The accent wall with the window in it and the part above the sink with the light fixture are spring green, and I'm testing out a couple shades of a slightly blue/purple/grey white for the other walls.

Husband always comments I'm such a messy painter, though the end result is good enough for him to also comment on job well done. It's a big compliment as he can be a perfectionist about that sort of thing. Probably calls me messy because of somehow getting it all over me, clothing, skin, hair. Yes, very messy indeed.

Kind of like your realm, but I generally only lick the parts that aren't painted.
