What did you say about Kern County? I don't like it here myself but maybe it's my inability to relate to anyone here. I tend to be clingy and I have a friend I can't visit atm and I have successfully hid from her how needy I am. If I had it my way , we'd hang out every day, but I don't want her to feel pressured. Just general shit about what shitholes Bakersfield and Oildale are. Nothing to do with you. My cousins lived there in the 1970s.

Yea Oildale is ugly. So are most of the people there. Bakersfield is nice though. A lot of grass and trees.  More people now. It is getting more like L.A.
