That's so sweet of the sob sisters. It takes a great deal of caring to be willing to risk other people's lives betting on "rehabilitation" working on Breivik. Just because releasing McDuff, Kemper, Shawcross, Harris et al to kill even more people didn't quite work out is no reason to hold Breivik more than 10 or 20 years.
our famous director Liv Ullmann actuall claimed we should "turn the other cheek"
what kind of horseshit crap is that to say
i mean, its a "nice thing" to say, but in practice it basically means "find him another 80 kids to shoot, and quickly!"
butterflies, yes, laws should be applied according to practicability, not tradition. these guys are being too focused on tradition (which is the same reason they didnt send the army, which was 5 minutes away, and screaming at the phone to ring, as they were watching it unfold on the news. the theory is: russia sends the army; we arent russia. its retarded)
rehabilitation is for those whom it works for.
short prison sentences is for those who arent _really_ a danger to society, that includes murder (most non-gang-related murders are unique cases, done in affection) etc.
this guy has _promised_ to massacre people as soon as he is released, and they know this.
they are simply too naive to take it seriously "surely, he wouldnt!
"
but he did "but surely, he wouldnt do it again
" sigh...
sea tart,
here he is reconstructing the events.
i dont think he should be sentenced to death, for the good old reason of: too simple. i want him to remain in prison, surrounded by somalis and pakistanis eagering to assrape him, untill he dies of age.
stultus, i wouldnt say that for sure. as in, the Virginia Tech guy was allowed to finish killing, at his leisure, just as breivik was. had it been in russia, on the other hand, the guy woulda been shot into a red pile of goop, from an army helicopter 30mm automatic cannon or something.
