The difference is that I acknowledge the underground scene and am not a complete brainless moron when it comes to music.
Hipsters usually say that.

And you listen to some rather obscure shit yourself, so you're being a hypocrite.
I don't have that attitude that I THINK I'm better since I listen to music that's obscure (although most of the music I like isn't really that obscure at all). If I went by your definition, then everyone would be a hipster since we all listen to stuff others never heard of.

Although if people want to call me a hipster, then I really don't mind at all. People can call me anything they want. I had people call me an emo before, even though I'm not melodramatic, don't even like the music and I don't have enough hair to sport an emo fringe.

Age of Empires is the only decent city building game anyway.

A good monarch is a treasure. A good politician is an oxymoron.

My brain is both uninhibited and uninhabited.

You're kidding, right? Age of Empires is not a city builder. It's a real time strategy warfare game.

Try building THIS with Age of Empires:

Or this:

I found these images on a website called SimTropolis.

Duke: considering AoE was set in the stone age to Roman conquest, I think their cities are more realistic than the cgi of today's modern city-sims. Yes, it was primarily warfare, but to survive you needed to build your cities and keep production going.

Caesar 3 was good. Never really liked Caesar 4 though. Only played it on an old computer that couldn't really deal with the graphics though. I might try insalling it on my other computer and see if I like it when it's running properly.

i cant wait for Magna Mundi.
Paradox allready made one of my very favorite grand-strategy map-games,
and magna mundi will have over 400 playable nations, all of them historically accurate.

its basically a game for history geeks, to play through history :nerdy:

Loved Caeser 3 myself but it's an absolute bitch to play it well. The learning curve is steeper compared to games like Simcity since the micromanagement goes right down to the individual citizens. I preferred Pharaoh though, it was challenging but much more understandable compared to Caeser 3.

Pharoah was great too. I never found these games hard because I always just played sandbox mode. I was never one for playing through missions. I just liked building huge cities on the easy maps

It might be good. It looks quite good from its webpage. Might be a bit too weighty for me though. That's the great thing about Pirate Bay. I can try these games for free.

I'm looking forward to Ravens Cry. It looks good. It's about pirates :pirate:

There was a demo of Pharoah on the original Age of Empires disk.
