1970 DMC Diesel Monte Carlo '99 Cummins turbo 24 valve

Yep. Big American luxury coupe with a Cummins turbodiesel from a Dodge Ram Heavy Duty. It gets surprisingly good fuel mileage (20-30 MPG) as well. I'd love to have a car just like that, but in black.

That's just weird but by the number of other vids it must a bunch of people have done similar. I wonder what the acceleration is like those motors are for pulling and hauling

It weighs about as much as a typical pick-up truck, so probably 0-60 mph in around 8-10 seconds.

It's a nice piece of work, but I can't get past the sound. Like hearing a dog meow, it's assaulting my logic.

About 30 years ago, someone yanked the engine out of a 1971 Hemi Challenger and replaced it with a GMC diesel.

Goddamned blaphemy I tell you!  :M
