Now I'm wondering if maybe he reacted badly to the Pertussis vaccine like my daughter did.

Quite possibly.  I am curious to know how it was established to be the culprit?  There was no diagnostics offered to me, not even a medical opinion.  In fact i was treated a bit like i was OTT,  and it got played down IMO.  This increased my anxiety and made
me dig my heels in.  Sounds like your doctors understood far better and handled it properly.

Urchin had chicken pox a few weeks ago.  Luckily very mild and no scars.

Her doctor said that the Pertussis vaccine was the likely culprit because of how my daughter responded after her first shot with it.

She didn't have the same reaction after the acellular Pertussis vaccine, so he must have been correct.

Another pediatrician in his practice acted to me after my daughter put an ant killer containing arsenic into her mouth and I noticed a rash and brought her in to be checked out on a weekend when he was the only doctor available the same way you describe your son's pediatrician's behavior toward you and it was infururiating.  I didn't want my daughter to see him again and I was relieved when he retired.  I love my daughter's pediatrician.  He listens to my concerns without acting like I'm an OTT nervous mother.

Pertussis was probably what made my oldest react very badly on her first vaccines, three days high fever, two days way too cold, but, there was a lot of pertussis going round that year. So, she had them all in time. Real pertussis would have been a lot worse.

Actually, no.  There was/is a pornstar that uses a similar name.   It seems to be a common practice for pornstars to use stage names that are close to an established star.  They usually do not use their real names.    If Jenny McCarthy did porn work, at least the porn work that comes to mind.  She'd be blacklisted by most of Hollywood. 

Then again, she may have done a sex tape that is circulating on the market.

None of those are considered genitalia , but it is sexual material for those with that fetish.... so effectively it IS porn.

Boobs are almost universally seen as sexual (despite being child nourishers) , so the fact she posed for topless photos for the purpose of sexual enjoyment of others , makes her a porn star of some sort.

And her boobs are fake, something she has openly admitted.   Oh and she's not a real blonde either..............a perfect spokesperson for the anti-vaccine movement.    One should ask her if her kid is autistic because of the silicone in her boobs or the dye she uses to stay blonde.

This may sound strange but I can actually respect Dr Wakefield more than I can Jenny McCarthy, in spite of him deliberately falsifying the mercury research.

I dont pretend to know much about the vaccine argument, but I find it amazing that people are prepared to listen to a topless model rather than the medical profesion when it comes to something as important as the health of their child.

These people are idiots.  This is just another form of natural selection.
