Pick one:

Budget and meal planning for July
Laundry
Kitchen clearing and organizaation

I'll do your kitchen if you do my laundry.  :orly:

I might take you up on that.  I'll need to work with PA since he uses the kitchen so much and should have input.  It's just the kitchen counters and sink today.  We're doing it in stages.

Dammit, does that mean the budgeting and meal planning will be my task?

I'll plan her meals if you do my laundry. :zoinks:

I did manage to get a large load of  :laundry:  done, so I now have clean clothes for work.
Today's dreaded task is ... going back to work.  I hope I can get into a good working rhythm.   :GA:

Hoping St Peter will not take you for a long long time, but not because you've changed into company property.

Disliked indeed. Do like it when they are done though.

I'm working with my friends today, so I'm not even bothered by the laundry I still have to do later.  8)

Voting ....well it is actually tomorrow
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

They're done. Today there is a bowl, spoon and mug leftover by me from breakfast.

I have to vote. I have mentioned that a number of times on here now, heh. So has Al.

more bad papers to grade.
one student complained that he didn't get anything out of the class - but he didn't hand in 1/3 of the assignments. his last discussion post was a long rant about how psychologists leave christ out of psychology and that's why psychology doesn't work.

i feel bad for the next adjunct who gets him in their class.

meanwhile i have graduate students who have the reading comprehension skills of second graders. my most favorite so far - was on norms. they are supposed to discuss a legal case in which bias created by norms was an issue. it's explained in the readings that norms are created to form a basis for comparing individual scores to the performance of similar individuals - basically standardized scores.

so this student cites a case where a police officer's therapist refuses to reveal the content of therapy sessions. the police officer is being brought to trial after she shot an unarmed man.

the student's answer to the question: "There were norms all over the place."
16 of these to grade and this was from one of the "smarter" students.
