I recently discovered all the other info stored in jpegs, yes I tend to be slow at times :tard:,  and find it all very interesting.  Some newer cameras even post GPS info along with all the other stuff.  A lot of the time it's all erased but when it's there I find it adds a whole new dimension  to the photo.

Non-techie question:  How do you access said info?

Right-click, properties, click details tab.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

 I don't see a Details tab.   :dunce:

Hmmm, I'm using Windows 7, so it may be different on other systems. But it's usually in the properties. If not, there are EXIF metadata readers out there.

Thanks, I have Vista myself, maybe that explains it.   :chin:

If it's not called Details, it's Summary on older versions of Windows. It should be there, if not, just select tabs until you start seeing a list of details like Width, Height, Copywrite, Camera Model, etc.

Cool, thank you, I may poke around, what harm could come of it?   :techprob:

I use the FastStone Image Viewer most of the time lately it's free and very good for sorting large numbers of photos.  I downloaded it off of Cnet
