Have you tried a knee brace pika? Might help stop the popping out due to the dysplasia. I've worn one before when my iffy knee kept collapsing on me.

I've tried one, and it only worked if it was tight. Tight enough that it quickly became very uncomfortable to wear at all.

Yeah, they aren't perfect; I found the same thing.

That, and the straps were too short, even though it was originally belonging to the fat slut-queen scat-whore slag from Tartarus herself.

Fiddly fucking things, I found it really difficult to get it tight enough to compress the joint enough for comfort.

Even the shittiest, most dirt-cheap knee braces aren't cheap. Wish I could afford one of those top-notch ones dfg.

I find the compression over my patellar tendon really helps. But the bottom of the line cheap-shit fabric, neoprene and velcro one I have is shitty, its fiddly, the strapping is too short to reach round and cross over the back of my kneecap properly, so I don't wear it very often, I want a top notch one like those dfg posted.

I shouldn't be. Plenty of things to do at work, lots of interesting things. It's just that I work with morons, with very few exceptions, and I'm sick and tired of having to do everything myself if I want it done.

Smelly and gross.  It's approaching that time of year where it's cold enough outside that my bedroom loses a noticeable amount of heat while I'm sleeping, but too hot during the day to turn the AC off.  Also too hot right before I go to bed.  I'm starting to get a headache from too much internets.
