Overwhelmed. Like I can't breathe. I think my Gram will pass soon. Have been up since 4am and I can feel it. Called my Mum to say she's not doing well and she said the nursing home had called her early this morning to say that Gram has stopped responding to people and will not open her eyes. She wanted to know if anyone had called me, how did I know? We are incredibly close and I knew I would feel it when it comes time.
I'd sooner not see her hurt in the first place. Hades, don't get me wrong. That doesn't mean for a minute I wouldn't be delighted to have her curled up in bed beside me. But I wouldn't want her ending up as meat paste.
