I'm pretty sure it's strep at this point. Throat is full of chunky pus. As it's been more than 3 days since it started antibiotics won't even do anything to help. Have to gut it out with my Halls.

I did not know that. I think it's more likely that the strep is resistant to that antibiotic.

After three days your body is already handling the problem without assistance and antibiotics aren't needed, only contribute to antibiotic resistant strains at that point. At least, that's how the doc explained it.
