Slightly off topic.  I was only in Paris twice.  Once for a connection between the airport and the train station (guided tour) and once for a 36 hour visit in 1973.  I saw everything I wanted to see (Winged Victory of Samothrace), ate some pastries and still had change from a $20 bill.
