Anxiety is now up to the puking level.  Hasn't happened yet, but might any minute.

Thanks.  I compounded the situation with coffee - bad move.

Anxiety about the house offer?

Yes.  36 hours without a response.  I think I may have fallen in love too early.

Well, a long response is better than a quick rejection.

I remember when we saw this house.  It didn't particularly appeal to me, but I knew it had a nice layout and location for resale.  We saw the house on Wednesday, brought my Mom to see it on Thursday. It was FSBO (For Sale By Owner) at $59,900, including a $1,000 carpet allowance.  I called him Thursday night and:

How do you feel about $56,000?
Well, I'd really like $59,000.  There's someone else interested in it, but they're trying to pay hard-ball with me.
Well, how about taking the carpet allowance off and selling it for $57,000?  That's where I'd really like to be.
Okay.  That was my final figure too.

(Yeah, I know 59 - 1 doesn't equal 57, but we were happy with it.

He left the FSBO sign up until the act of sale and had over 100 inquiries.  I think he regretted his quick yes.

Ah, right. Don't answer my question in that other thread, if you haven't already. Good luck with the house.

That's good news, Hubert. Now you know where your money will be going for the next few years. :P

Feeling awful today. Was up most the night. Feeling tired, queasy, dizzy, migraine on the horizon. Oy.  :facepalm2:
