^While you wait, use Sensodyne toothpaste and you can also apply it to the tooth throughout the day. It will help Feeling full. Got chicken souvlaki takeout from Opa!

Got chicken souvlaki takeout from Opa! I love Sensodyne, I do use it and will start bringing some to work to dab on when I hurt. Chicken souvlaki sounds promising, what is in it besides chicken?

Cautiously optimistic about the tooth. Hopefully I don't develop a raging infection in the jawbone or anything like that in the week I have till the appointment.

Perhaps you could rinse your mouth 2 or 3 times a day with a dilute solution of hydrogen peroxide (1 capful) and mouth wash?

Because I have a small mouth I use one capful (of the HP bottle) of Hydrogen peroxide to about 1/2 capful (of the MW bottle) of mouthwash. If the mouthwash is too drying, you could dilute it a bit with water or buy some alcohol free mouthwash. This was advice from a dental tech on keeping my teeth healthy. It probably won't cure what's wrong, but it may keep it from getting infected.
