Thank you. That sounds perfect.

puzzled.  Why did my house gas bill almost double?  Yes we had it on some last month, but it's not been that much of a jump before.

Planning on calling the company to see if there's a minor gas leak in the line or a problem with the meter.

If it is a misreading it will sort itself out next month.

In a bit of pain. I slipped with a knife, whilst having to remove the skin of my left hand, and accidentally cut into living tissue.

(This isn't as bad as it sounds, skinning my own hand, I have to from time to time, as a lingering consequence of the time in childhood, I first encountered batteries, which employed thionyl chloride as an electrolyte. I got a fair bit of the SOCl2 contained in a large battery, the size of one of the individual power cells found in those square, tall batteries with a pair of springy coils as  terminals, only quite a bit wider, and with a pressure-vent pin in the top. Opened it and a fair portion of the thionyl chloride within, ended up dousing my gloved hand.)

It burned straight through the thick leather of the glove, rotting it to strands of mulchy black stuff, corroding the crap out of the steel spikes embedded in the back of the hand and over the knuckles  of the glove, then continued, carried on going until it had burnt down to the bare muscle and tendons of my palm. When I pulled the glove off, the skin, flesh, just sloughed off, leaving my shining, glistering wet red muscle tissue and pale, yellowy pink tendons and  bits of muscle fascia smoking, giving off acrid, corrosive hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide fumes, and hydrolyzing, the thionyl chloride turning into a mixture of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, using the exuded blood plasma and the interstitial, and cellular fluids  liberated to form a solution of HCl and H2SO4, whilst giving off the acrid, noxious hydrogen chloride gas also, mixed with lots of SO2 gas.

And when I dunked it in water, reacted violently, heating up, hissing and spitting acid.

As a result, my hand was left very badly burnt, over three quarters to four-fifths of my palm on one hand. Other hand spared totally from contact. But the affected one, it's badly scarred, and it doesn't really show as a scar as it is so large and confluent, it is, rather, a region of attacked tissue which overgrows severely, thickening and thickening until it has exhibited so much hypertrophic growth of dead tissue, that I literally, need to use a sharp penknife, or a scalpel, to slice around the area in such a way as to give it weak-lines, scored  in, and then with pliers, peel it off in as large a set of strips  as possible, if I cannot simply delineate it and  tear it free in one single piece. Basically, yes, skinning myself alive. Only it's all dead, no feeling, and no blood supply. It's just like say, a calloused heel, but far, far thicker. And if I didn't it'd probably keep growing, until I couldn't close my hand anymore. It's  been difficult for a few days, so decided now was as good a time as any for my next re-flaying.

Slipped, got the score lines wrong, and accidentally ended up ripping off three parts of living flesh, with blood supply, no, five, looking closer, although four would be closer as one is more of a single bit ripped clean of flesh, with a narrow strand down the middle, bisecting it.

Nothing too deep, just painful, shallow, but about a half inch wide in the largest. Taking a sheet of dead meat off, it refused to detach in the right place, and so, it tore a piece of my living hand off with it.

I hate it when it does that when I have to set time aside for a re-flaying. Really overgrows like crazy. Have tried super-strong corticosteroids in ointment form, but it only helps a little. Ended up with a huge handful, in the other hand, of what used to be Lestat Rett, now in salami form, as if it were a hand full of the rind, freshly peeled off a clementine orange. Not dissimilar in quantity either. Only in colour. If I were donald trump, aside from me being an inbred piece of monkey faeces too, you'd not be able to tell the difference, and think I'd just eaten a satsuma.
