Kinda crappy.

Feeling very wet.  It has rained most every day for over a week.

Not sure what it means but I saw a line of animals marching two by two today.

A little teary-eyed because of this composition from the Aliens soundtrack.
It starts out so intense and it ends in beautiful serenity.  Also, composer
James Horner, who died too soon (age 61, crashed while flying his plane)
was first generation Austrian-American like my late father.  :'(

Like there is too much to do now. I am too tired. I have to wait too long and give up too much to get what I want and procrastination is a bad coping mechanism for control.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

In all seriousness, we had a very wet April's worth of rain in the final week of the month.
Now we have had almost a full month of rain in the first few days of May. May, here, is typically a very wet month.
We have roads closed here and there due to flooding. Many schools were closed today because of impassable roads in the outlying areas.

I do know what wet times can do. No hills here, flat as a pancake in the polder, and most roads do have a hard surface, so that will not cause a problem. I did add 15 cm of topsoil to my garden though, after a year where sparrows would bathe in my lawn through the whole year. One of those years that farmers can't work their fields.

So far, this year had not been too wet. But it had been bloody cold. Some crops need to be resown and I hope most orchards will have managed to protect the blossoms of the trees from freezing whith spraying water. Or new apples and pears will be very expensive this year.

5 nights of moderate insomnia  :'(

Right now I'm rather buzzed.  At work even.  That's always fun.  :headbang2:

Buzzed at work? Not since I worked as a projectionist.

I've noticed today I've been talking in a panicky way to people. My voice sounds jittery and like I'm about to cry.
