Here in this family all three of us may borrow or lend small sums of money to one another. Sometimes it is the convenient way. But we know it will be paid back soon. Very soon.

He will pay me back, but not in a reasonable time. He always has excuses. I know if I ratted him out to my mom she'd make him pay me back. She'd kill him. He's afraid of her. The thing is, he's lent me money when I've needed it and I didn't want my yelly mom to know. She overreacts and will bring it up 20 years later and constantly rant about it. He said he'd pay me back plus 500 dollars and I believe him. I wish I could talk to my mom without her overreacting all the time.

Good. Put it all back in savings and don't waste it on gaming, or only waste a little bit on gaming equipment or software where there's at least something real to show for it. Otherwise, might as well be driving down the road and throwing money out the window of the car. A second account is something worth considering. People wont ask for money they don't know exists, and if people wont let you save in peace then you'll be less inclined to save the first place.

Ducky, don't let him fuck about and take the piss out  of you by acting as though he has the right not to cough up on time. And never mind your mom making him pay you back, you do it. You say he'd pay up at the correct time if your mom knew? because he is afraid of her anger? again, do irt yourself, and if he fucks about, or worse, tries not to return the money plus your profits, tries to weasel out of it, or to beg his way out of it, because he thinks he can get away with it? sod calling your mother in, you stand up to the fucker and give him something to be scared OF.
