Bringing earmuffs to a simultaneous piano recital by 20 kids would probably be considered to be rude.   :tard:

But necessary. I'd rather be rude than have a meltdown.

And with good earmuffs no negative remark would be heard on being rude either.

I bet you would get a lot of jealous parents wishing they had had the balls to do the same.

How were there twenty kids at once playing at a piano recital? Were they all on different instruments?

Twenty pianos would be impressive, in an end of the world kind of way.

Plugged in the original wired keyboard that came with this "box" computer.

Seems fine.

(sorry, but my other difficulties may not allow me to know when I make typing errors, as you know, but I will try to do my best)

YES, there were twenty two electronic pianos all playing at the same time.

I would love to say, "Wonder! Beauty!"  .... but I can not. It really sucked.

I could not even tell when my own son made a keying error.

I am trying to forget  it.

Speaking of balls ... and most especially, the movie Spaceballs ...

... not sure why it was brought up or even how ...

I had the funny idea that, similar to "sea legs" which one has to "earn" or at least become accustomed to that "spaceballs" is something that one has to also earn or something.

My thought is that if one has not yet earned ones "SPACEBALLS," then one should certainly NOT be in space.

Back on topic:

... I am kind of wiped out.

I have not yet slept, since I set my alarm for two AM yesterday morning (I think that was twenty five hours ago, but I have lost track of time with all the coffee and sweets and fast food served up by the bosses, etc, etc, etc.), and I have a ten hour day due to start in sixty seven minutes.

I am heading for the shower.

See you guys in a couple of days.

Feeling pretty good, actually. It's good to have a few days off.

OK, still bit weird because of unexpected massive change in X-mas plans. (Found out yesterday that family gathering at my mother's wasn't first, but second X-mas day. (second X-mas day = boxing day, for the non-northern Europeans) Massive communication fuck-up.
Decided to ask ex if he could make a switch in seeing kids and me on December 25th, instead of the 26th. He could.

Still sucks, I longed to see mum on the 24th. But going to and fro a few times is not an option.

I use  disposable ear plugs, they are barely visible.

I find the pressure and noise those plugs bring very hard to deal with. A brother of mine passes out, when wearing ear plugs.
