Headache, and lost track of that fucking thread again

I'm not going to buy cheap Japanese snacks anymore. I used to love them. These days they taste meh to me. They don't compare to a fresh salad with lemon dressing, olives and goats cheese, for instance. My taste buds have really changed. I still love burgers too.

Sounds as if your preferences are switching from sweets to savory foods.  Mine too.  8)

Savory foods just kind of "hit the spot," they are more satisfying.  8)

Yeh, savoury foods to me now have many levels of flavour in the same meal.  :) I've been eating this mixed salad (rocket and some others, not bitter leaves) and adding kalamata olives with orange, and goats cheese, and lemon juice on top. It sounds plain but I'm finding it really good. I do like dunking not-so-sweet hard biscuits into tea and coffee every now and then.

Burgers, yes. Had a big double cheeseburger (the proper barbeque grilled kind not macdonalds cardboard with mechanically reclaimed cow innards that have a half-life not a shelf life.

Slightly zombified from not sleeping much due to heartburn, muscle aches, and joint twinges.  :sleepy:

Satisfied, in that an org. chem. reaction I am pretty new to went with only one minor hitch (temporary tripping the circuit breakers when a bit of water from the condenser feed line dripped onto the stirplate plug, although not at a time it mattered, just had to keep the power to the plate off, and CAREFULLY use a gas torch to keep the temperature from falling below 60-70 degrees, drying the hotplate out again so I could again use the stirrer, albeit with difficulty, since what had to be stirred had the consistency of thick sludge and wasn't particularly willing to move, even with the rare earth magnet stirbar and on maximum power.

Better, now that the leg pain has subsided.  I'm going to try the new lace-up shoes tomorrow.   :arrr:
Apparently the slip-on shoes are just too loosely structured to keep my feet stable, which leads to all
sorts of compensatory tensing of muscles and the cramps and pain that follow.  That's my guess, anyway.

^Yeah, slip-on shoes don't support ankles very well. Once I had some Nike sneakers that had a zip instead of laces. Loved those shoes, they lasted about 10 years.

They sound great.  I wish my shoes lasted 10 years, but I wear them out fast!
