I have been commissioned for a new project.
I get to cut wood and glue and screw and brace and use my oscilloscope and my test equipment and play with stuff ......
This will be a good time for me. I have not done a professional piece of gear for a "friend" for a few years.
Instead of my typical (which I am a bit famous for building around here) gut pounding, bone quivering, giant subwoofers systems. I am going to build a pair of high power tops to go above an existing sub system. They love their sub system, but hate their tops.
I just do not think I can do this without a separate mid woof (from about one hundred or so Hz to about three to five hundred Hz) using similar power as the awesome subs they want to keep.
I will get to use ONE of their four sub systems for two weeks to make tests and then apply my wares to their need.
So, I feel GREAT, as Tony the Tiger might have said.
