chills with a fever and headache. any advice?

Aspirin is good if you can take it, or ibuprofen.  Drink liquids and get some rest.  :)

I've been feeling really tired and shitty for the past week, but I'm starting to feel more normal now.

Not half bad. Bought a small amount of a new derivative of 5-APB 5-(2-aminopropyl)benzofuran, a desoxy derivative of MDA. The compound I have, namely 5-IT, 5-(2-aminopropyl)indole, a positional isomer of AMT, is seemingly closer in pharmacology to 5-APB than to AMT.

Although I can't say for sure. Dose so far, I've taken it up to 60mg nasally, as 2x30mg 2 hours apart, I haven't taken 5-APB so I can't give a qualitative comparison. I got sent some as a free sample by a research chemical supply company I have done some business with, although the pigs seized it, along with most of a gram each of alpha-methyltryptamine, and 5-methoxy-n,n-diallyltryptamine. Tried charging me, forced to drop it as they have no grounds either for a legal search, and seized nothing illegal.

So they will have to return everything, including the 5-(2-aminopropyl)-benzofuran, I just have to call the bacon on monday to arrange that. And I intend to sue the cunts for this. When I get it back, when I get round to it, I will give the 5-APB a bioassay. As a rule I don't like entactogens. I am not built to be social, I'm just not wired up right for them, in terms of biochemistry. But thus far, the 5-IT seems ok.

I HATE MDMA, and its beta-keto analog methylone. The empathogenic effect seems forced and fake to me, I find its just not my ally and I can't accomplish much positive with it, so I don't bother taking MDMA or bk-MDMA. I do enjoy AMT though, which is a true 5HT2a agonist psychedelic in addition to its entactogenic effects, AMT has helped me get to a state where I can work through the issues that are responsible for causing my PTSD.

Summary of the 5-IT experience:

Body weight-around 10 stone
Gender-male
Age-25, nearly 26
Dosage-30mg 5-IT freebase, intranasally, followed by a further 30mg intranasally at T:2 hours.
Also on a little short of 1g of oxycodone HCl, intravenously along with a dose of a non-sedating antihistamine, and a load of antiinflammatories (traxam gel, and indomethacin capsules)

Effects:
Moderate stimulation, some elevation of heart rate, nothing alarming. The cardiovascular push at this dosage level is not threatening. I did however find it a little irritating, so took 8mg of tizanidine (an alpha2 adrenoreceptor agonist) to lessen it. Some increase of the muscle twitching I've been having a problem with. Took 10mg nitrazepam at T:+4 1/2 hours

Anorexia-Ate beforehand knowing this was a likely property of 5-IT, it is with most drugs of a stimulant nature. And as expected, it is indeed the case. I am not hungry at all, although thirst is normal, making sure to drink and stay hydrated.

Mindset: quite comfortable just sitting at my computer, talking to people on MSN, listening to music, And FINALLY managing to kill the fucking rootkit that has been plaguing my computer.

Some jaw grinding. I think in a bit I will go to the lab and find some magnesium sulfate, as Mg helps with stimulant-induced jaw tension and bruxism.
Overall, quite contented just sitting here, talking on MSN, listening to music, and checking updates on various forums. Some elevation of body temperature, as with MDMA, methylone, and other CNS stimulants, largely counteracted by the dose of paracetamol I took to help lessen the pain in my leg. Christ....I hope they bloody fix it soon. I have had enough of this shit. I shouldn't have to rely on a cane to walk at 25yo.

I think in a bit though I shall have to get off my arse and to the lab, I have a project I'm working on, the synthesis of a novel AMPAkine type nootropic, 1-benzoyl-4-propionylpiperazine, aka sunifiram. This one is of extreme potency by weight, and the journal references on it make it look pretty promising. Active at 0.1mg/kg (oral, rat) to 0.001mg/kg (IV, rat)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunifiram

No human bioassays out there that I can find, not so sure as its ever been tried in man. If it has, then nobody has reported about it online that I can find. My source of piperazine is impure though, I have it as an OTC de-worming medicine, which is mostly piperazine phosphate, but has a pinkish dye in it. Going to try purification via sublimation of the freebase, followed by formation of mono-hydrochloride salt, which should act as a protecting group, allowing selective mono-acylation with first benzoyl chloride, then removal of the HCl protecting group with base, allowing reaction with propionyl chloride to give sunifiram.

If however the intended reaction protocol proves a pain in the arse, I shall buy some n-BOC piperazine come monday when I get paid, or better still, some 1-benzoylpiperazine, if I can find it.

I think I might redose a little more 5-IT in a little while, and see where it takes me. No more re-doses after that though. Going to dose another 40mg of oxy, as my leg is still absofuckinglutely killing me. I can't wait until my appointment with the specialist pain clinic, my regular doctors are at a loss as to how to handle it now, my hip and knee have got so bad. Just took 20mg baclofen (a muscle relaxant) to help lessen the muscle tension in my leg, and am about to slam 40mg of oxycodone.

*mmm...that hit the spot ;D* Thats better. I can stand up now, and stretch my legs some.

Nor is my leg, odeon. Despite ever increasing doses of oxycodone, and IV'ing it instead of taking it by mouth, or by arse. It controls my knee pain mostly, but it doesn't do much for my hip, and the cramp-like pain in my lower leg, jesus...ffuckingwell crowbegotten christ. It feels like cramp, only around a red hot, rusty nail driven into my leg.

Other than that, I'm feeling pretty nicely toasted. Nicely chilled, decent euphoria, eyes starting to droop, thanks to the 6mg of tizanidine and 20mg nitrazepam I plugged. Took a further 10mg nitrazepam dissolved under the tongue.

Wish to fucking cthulhu I could afford to shoot just a few more oxycontins, but I can't, I need every last remaining OC and oxynorm to make it through to my next script. Although of course, I'll probably down a few bottles of codeine syrup, opium tincture, and morphine cough mixture in the coming week too.

I do have one last remaining weapon in my current arsenal. A big bloody great bag of poppy pods and straw. I'm going to boil some up into pod tea in a bit. Tastes absolutely rank, but its chock-full of codeine and morphine-y goodness.

I redosed another 50mg of 5-IT, nasally, some 4 hours into the experience. The peak, assuming I've reached it, and I believe that to be the case, is not hugely intense, but quite pleasant and mellow, at least, with the other pharmaceuticals circulating in the bloodstream of this pharmaceutical dustbin ;D

Some nasal congestion, but that always happens when I take my tizanidine script, and after insufflating a chemical, hardly a surprise. Easily enough dealt with, with an oxymetazoline and menthol based nasal decongestant spray.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

3)just curious: was it spybot that removed the spyware or did you have to do a full re-install?
4) im not going to lie. you do seem like quite the addict. not in a bad way. it does not seem to be affecting your life in horrible ways. you just seem addicted to your substances. ive no problems with it as long as its not destroying your life.

1-Why thank ye. I'd hardly call myself a genius though. I'm just self-taught in mycology and botany (since age 4-5) along with toxicology, forensics, psychopharmacology, (bio)chemistry, neurophysiology, general things pharmacology, chemistry and cognitive neuroscience. Have been since I was a little kid.

And yes, I use drugs. I don't have a prejudice towards drugs as a whole, or drug users. I try not to let it negatively affect my life, and I do catch something negatively affecting my life, or functionality, I kick it in the arse. Only thing I do not like, yet can do fuck all about, is my physical dependence on regular, high dose opioid use. My knee, my hip, and my calf muscle, all fucked big time, and neuropathy thanks to surgery that was both useless, and made things worse, by leaving me with the nerve damage.

Even shooting up my oxycontin/oxynorm (prepped by micron filtering to remove particulate matter, such as pill binders, and sterilize the solution prior to injection), or IV'ing heroin or morphine does relatively little for the neuropathic pain, although intravenous injection of methoxetamine, or 4-methoxy-phencyclidine (will be trying 3-MeO-phencyclidine soon as I get paid tomorrow, 3-MeO-PCP is known to have greater affinity as a mu-opioid receptor agonist than 4-MeO-PCP, and having quite a bit of experience shooting MXE, which has quite a bit of MOR agonist activity, it makes all the difference to the analgesic effects. Also, NMDA antagonists have the useful property of reducing development of tolerance to opioids, and reducing existing tolerance, which I need to do..my opioid tolerance is way too damn high atm....physical dependence is unavoidable, since there is, as yet, no fix for my leg, or my hip, and I must take at least 120mg of oxy a day, IV or plugged if I have no needles to be able to walk. I'm on the pain meds for the forseeable future, so the best I can do is minimize tolerance)

Spybot didn't kill the rootkit. Avira antivirus did. Although its fucking slower than frozen dog shyte. The malware was running in memory, and avira killed the process and quarantined the responsible nasty. I'll have to reinstall my sound drivers, as the malware ate them. Pain in the arse, but nothing un-fixable.

And I wouldn't say I am addicted to substances, aside from my having to take pain meds daily. I just use a lot of different substances. Mainly research chemicals. Psychedelics particularly. I have found that AMT (alpha-methyltryptamine, an entactogen, but also a true 5HT2a agonist psychedelic. I am normally not wired for oxytocin-releasing entactogenic drugs, hating MDMA for instance, and likewise, hating methylone. But AMT has had a really positive effect on me, allowing me to do psychological work on my PTSD, and work through the issues that were causing the constant hyper-vigilance, hyper-arousal, panic every time I heard a car engine going outside the house. and other PTSD symptoms. Like the nightmares.

I took the AMT, insufflated, whilst walking out into the woods to hunt for wild mushrooms to eat (trained myself in mycology since age 4-5), hiked about for a bit each time, picked what I could find, then found a nice, quiet little clearing in the trees, and a tree to curl up at the base of, and close my eyes, and explore my psyche, working through any issues I could bring to mind.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.
