resentful for a reason I don't know.  If I knew it I could address it.  Need to explore my thoughts more.

Extremely unfocussed and disorganised.  Lots of  :GA:  :dunno: :GA:  :dunno: :GA: in my head.

What is to be expected, after a day like yesterday.

Not a good feeling.

Like throwing up. Jobcentre are making me apply for jobs I just cannot do. At all. Especially the shelving one, that'd be hilarious.

If they send you on any interviews for them, just make the employer well aware of what your physical limitations are. They can make you apply, but no one is going to hire you do something you are physically unable to do.

Will they provide an assistant to get you on your two feet every time you need it? Would be interesting to see who is going to pay, if they put you at risk, and you get hurt. Their responsibility.

Not wishing that on you though.

This whole idea of getting people to participate in society is great, but, it will not happen without costing extra. Knobheads.

Don't get me wrong, I'm desperate to get a job and hate scrounging off taxpayers. I'm doing everything I can to get a job and am sorting out voluntary work and work experience for myself too. Sorry if I didn't sound that way.

Eep. Feel a bit guilty now.  :-[

nothing to feel guilty about. the people who should feel guilty are the ones who encourage people in your position to feel guilty themselves (and obviously the people who ARE just scroungeing and lazy etc. not people who genuinely can't find work they're able to do tho

if you're physically unable to do the job, then they're fucking STUPID.

I feel guilty about still not having a job, but I'm hoping that I will soon be able to tho, as I don't have a physical disability so once I get a few things sorted I should be able to get a job much more easily

your job centre people sound like fucking idiots though if theyre trying to get you on ridiculous jobs like that. it's disgusting. and the media are only fueling the hype, which is making more and more people actually believve that the majority who are on benefits or unemployed are just lazy. also this current government can go fuck itself

just do your best (which you obviously are doing anyway), and there's nothing you can do about the idiotic mistakes THEY make. therefore no reason to feel guilty about it.

It did not sound wrong.

You did not say anything bad about your intentions.

And, it is hard to find a job that is that fitting that you can stay healthy in it, a job that is good for you, and where you can be good for the job.

My apologies, I misunderstood.

Thanks for the support guys, helps loads :)
I printed out the job descriptions for the jobs I couldn't do and highlighed the bits I can't do in bright-as-fuck yellow so hopefully they'll understand more. Or I could kick em in the back of the legs a few times for a more hands-on approach to learning. :P

Adam, I totally agree. The hate speech the Daily Mail have been giving out lately has done absolutely no favours. Also take your time getting a job, just cause you haven't got a physical disability doesn't mean they should guilt trip you or anything into getting some naff job.
