And back cometh Lestat....
Had a close one there after my carefully dried solvents and compound almost got, literally, a garden hose turned on them both full blast. Luckily I caught it as it slipped off my venturi, no harm done other than being soaked to the skin and feeling like a half drowned rat, shivering my balls off at about 7:30 in the morning in the garden setting the vac up, and keeping hold of the connection after it slipped and on reflex alone, plus pure luck managed to snatch the hose out of the air three times after it started lashing two and fro spewing water all over. My compound is cleansed though, and I FINALLY found the teflon-coated magnet stirbar I've been wondering where the bloody hell it got to for so long, buried in a chunk of crystals of the sulfonic acid being worked on. Took it from looking a bit yellowy and icky and grey tinged on the surface to nice and shiny white crystals. Looking lurvely so far.
