I would attach one end of the thread to the apple and throw it in a field where a couple of horses graze. With every attempt of a horse to eat the apple I pull the apple a little towards me and see how the horse(s) would react.

A) Bed at MIDNIGHT! Sleep is anyone's guess???

Q) Manual or automatic?

Automatic, these days, but it depends on the gearbox. I've become lazy.

How often do you buy books?

A) Every few months I do a big order with Amazon.

Q) Fishnet or lace?

I think lace can be very beautiful and stylish. Fishnets tend to be tacky or cheapish, IMO.

Which season you like best? And which season is least favourite according to you?

A) Spring. Calm temperatures with warm rain showers and the start of baseball. Winter is myleast favorite with Summer a close second. I love snow, but when it ain't snowing I could do without the freezing temperatures. Summer seems to drag on and when it is in the upper 90s and higher it just isn't worth it and you have to stay inside. Fall is great like Spring, plus you get October baseball, assuming the Red Sox are playing.

Q) If you could be a land animal, which would you choosand why?

A.  Some kind of primate,  maybe a gorilla


Q.  Who would you like to punch in the face?

A) Difficult to say because I don't believe in violence. A few years ago I wanted to do something to 'W' and now I suppose I'd like to seriously hurt Michael 'The Dog Killer' Vick and anyone who supports him or any team he is on...currently the Philadelphia Dog Killer.

Q) Do you believe people can be honest and not always have ulterior motives?

Yes, I do believe people can be honest and have honest motives. Encountered otherwise but I know there are good honest folks around also.

Are you any good at giving the proper names of birds you encounter in your neck of the woods? (or okay-ish maybe)

A) I generally know the common names. Sparrows, Turkey Vultures, Black Birds, Crows, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Canadian Geese, Mallard Ducks, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Orioles, Roadside Hawks, Yellow Finches, Crows, Morning Doves, Cat Birds, etc. Close enough anyway.

Q) What kinds of reptiles and amphibians do yiu have around you?

Not a lot of snakes here in Holland. Not sure but I thought there are only 3 native species of them here.. and they're quite rare all 3 of them. There are also some small lizards and yeah, they're not very common either.

Well, the word common is somewhat ambiguous. What's common here probably isn't as common in the US or Australia for instance. Species we don't have at all and vice versa.

Apart from birds, shamefully Holland hasn't a great variety of animals, I'm afraid.

In Holland/the Netherlands we have almost no wild animal that could seriously harm a human being. Out of the top of my head: wolf spider, tic, wasp, hornet, mosquito and adder.. (?) that's it.. and they of course aren't life threatening at all.

Um, question is: where you live, the nearby area, are there any wild animals (insects, spiders, snakes, big mammals, etc.) that could seriously harm a human being coming in contact with them?

A) Black Widow and Brown Recluse spiders mainly. Also some snakes like the Northern Copperhead, Timber Rattlesnake, and the Eastern Cottonmouth.

Q) Do you kill bugs or set them free?

A.  Only thing i kill  -  the fly.  I detest flies. 
     I don't go anywhere near spiders, so they are safe and i watch all other bugs with interest but don't
     mess with them.   I also do 'moth rescue'  to the ones that make the mistake of landing in sink!


Q.  What subject are you most knowledgeable about?

A) Academically...Physics and Mathematics. Other...Star Wars and Boston sports teams. Can't teally delineate between the two in each group.

Q) If you had supet powers, would you use them for good or evil or just waste them?

Depends on my mood. And what other people refer to as good or evil. Getting rid of drugs by using super powers might be good for me, but the cunts who deal them might not be impressed.
