How did your appointment go?I'm glad that your appointment went well and your tooth feels like it should again. It drives me crazy if one of my teeth feel weird and my tongue bothers it all the time. My appointment didn't go too well. There was tooth decay under the crown that I was going to have replaced, so I just have something temporary covering the tooth while I decide what to do about it. The decay actually went below my gum level and there isn't much tooth left in that area where the decay was. The dentist said that I should either see a periodontist to have the crown lengthened by removing some bone and gum, or I should see an oral surgeon to have the tooth removed and an implant put in. I just saw something about an orthodontist being able to force eruption of the tooth up to the level so that it could be crowned without having to remove any bone, so now I wonder if something like that could work for me.
