Ah, okay. Maybe due to the use of many colours of towels and bed stuff in the last 20/30/40 years it has become a bit of an old fashion term for it.

Do use a different soap powder for my darker clothes and 'white' powder for towels, bedclothes and such.

Mmmm, what a nice cosy girlie talk.. :LOL:

I've even expanded my types of detergent, by adding a product for black/dark washing to it.
IT happens to be the first detergent ever that I really like the scent of. So, I'm a convinced user of washing detergent for black laundry now, because of the odour.

Although I hardly use it, I have a little plastic bottle of the 'black detergent' too. Can you wash e.g. dark blue or brown clothes with it also?

Well, I can, and my clothes don't seem to mind.  :autism:

Fleuril dark colours just smells good. So, I'm almost tempted to do all my washing in it. (Had a sniff at their other detergents, they smelled different)

Yes.  It has ingredients that help keep dark colors from fading.

I use it on my blacks and other dark laundry.
