I'm getting up to put my clean wet clothes in the dryer!   

you are being very industrious today.

It will be wet all weekend here so I wont be able to hang my clothes out, and will have to use the dryer also.

I do both, if the weather allows.  I put them into the dryer just until they partially dry, then I hang them up to finish.  That way, I seldom need to iron anything.

I actually enjoy ironing.  Rather do that than wash dishes.

 I haven't ironed anything since 1990!

Aha!.  I don't usually hang clothes up (lazy me).  I usually ironed the PR's school shirts when she was in school.  Used to go to my GF's house on Sunday night and do the week's worth.  My iron is hiding in the hoarding.

I was very proud of myself.  I went to Goodwill and bought PA 5 shirts and a book.  I only bought an eyeglass case and a pack of looseleaf paper for myself.  The PR however walked out with 4 large throw pillows and 2 tops.  But that is in her room, not something that I need to dehoard until the far future, I hope.

The house is quiet, the cats are sleepy, the kid is at a neighbor's for a birthday party.

No 12 yr olds pounding at the door, camped out in the living room playing COD, or shooting airsoft guns from the porch.

Deciding what space to clear out to bring Hedwig back into the computer room since she "talks" while the Princess Royal watches TV.

I'm envying Icequeen.

The house is almost quiet. The cats are keeping an eye on eachother in a bad mood. The kids should be sleeping, but I hear some tapping on a bedside, indicating at least one is not. There could be a 13 or 10 yo coming downstairs any moment.

But, I should be able to get some coffee with chocolate.

That's not nothing.  The cat is cleaning under the toilet.  The owner just needs to attach a rag to the end of the leash.
