Nooo. The rural dales are expensive. I live in the Bradford area. Nowhere near as nice, but much cheaper and interesting.

See now that is my kind of place. I like character and I despise spendy places that are for show. I live out in the country but we bought the worst house in the area that was desperate for TLC but had good bones. Everyone out here buys the original houses and tears them down and builds some kind of monstrosity. We kept our little 1950's bungalow just as it is. (There is also a Bradford here. I think when Canada came to be they just named all of the places after the UK )

It's also a possibility that you might like it over at Yorkshire. Beautiful houses and beautiful museums. Then again, went through there to go Middlesbrough.

Speaking of Canada, there is a place in London called Canada Water and I kid you not. All the apartments are named after places in Canada. Toronto House, Québec house etc.
