My Kindle Fire was a Christmas present a few years ago and I wasn't going to refuse it. It means I can get onto the internet almost instantly. I can read colour comics easily too. I also have a large number of books to read. It's really easy to download books from Amazon. Takes a few seconds. I have to be careful because I can spend too much money.

It's one of the best presents I've ever gotten. :)

The house is at 79F (27C) and The PR is sleeping under a comforter and a lap rug.  But she'll run around the house and sit in front of floor fans in the day when the house is set at 81F.  SMH

The PR gave me a combined Mother's Day/Birthday/Christmas present of a Kindle last year.  (I limit her to $20 for my presents, so it took a while to build up the money.) 

It's wreaked havoc on my body as I spend way too many hours reading it in bed.  I have over 2,500 pins, 1,000 free books (and 2 paid for about Bastogne) and view the heck out of Amazon Prime videos.
