finishing the present for CBC as a procrastination from grading.
also working on complaints. A student complained that I had given her a D+. I must have done it in a ADD moment, because when I went in to look she was a solid D-. Academic affairs advised me to change it to D-. I guess in the future she won't be complaining about grades without looking at the gradebook.

procrastinating playing CIV by doing grading. The NDS shut off without saving my game - not looking forward to redoing all the work or getting a new NDS.

procrastinating from grading the last three papers. the good news is that i have one brilliant student who writes well, another who writes well with lots of spelling and grammar errors, one whose writing is fair but writes genius ideas, and a couple who might get it by the end of the class.

the awful ones give a lot of bad, but finding students who actually want to learn makes up for it.

and now my tea is ready so i am going back to grading and drinking - it's maple surprise tea
