No, it's not. Shame. It had a 2 years warranty but the Bosch dryer died being almost 3 years old. P/m 2 weeks ago now. Bummer.

Hope it's easy to fix and that it won't set me back (money-wise) that much.

Well, think my sensitive skin will be glad the hard/rough towels days are over, when it's fixed.

I know what you mean, air-dried clothes are never quite as soft!  :toporly:

Sitting in the back seat of a car, on my way back from a meeting with a client. Sometimes it's nice when you don't have to drive.

What was wrong with it?

I love the smell of towels dried on the clothesline, but you're right that they aren't as soft.

Hope that it's cheap and easy to fix.  My friend's Bosch washing machine broke right after the warranty ended and the repairman doesn't know which of two possible things is wrong with it, the $500 thing or the $1000 thing, so suggests repairing the $500 thing first just to see if that might fix it.

It's nice as long as they're not driving your ride.

Ex always wants to drive the truck when we go somewhere...I think it's a male-riding-shotgun in-a-pickup-with-a-woman-driving ego issue, he has to converse with other males and act like he's had it since it rolled off the assembly line.

I bought an "almost impossible to remove without cutting" special steering wheel cover with pink & purple hearts on it just for him.  :zoinks:

I'm not really the hearts and flowers type. >:D

Well, the mechanic replaced the stiring module. The old thing burned/short-circuited, according to him, due to the lack of good ventilation in the bathroom. It's a small bathroom (with loo, shower, sink, a washing machine and dryer on top of it) but it has no window(s).

Dryer works again and I'm going to let the door wide open now when it does its drying bussiness. Maybe I'm going invest a little in some sort of ventilation device to prevent it happening again.

Repair wasn't cheap though. (€275/but hey.. )

Getting ready to shut the computer down, brush my teeth and go to bed.  4:00 a.m. is going to be here in another 6  hours.

Usually driving relaxes me, especially if I'm alone in the car.
