That was SO annoying. The benzo got to me, and put me to sleep. Woke up in the last few minutes of star trek, TNG. Fucking annoying, I wanted to find out what the hell was going on with Data flipping his wig and siding with a bunch of rebel borg and what he was doing with his evil twin brother Lore (again...you'd think he'd learn his lesson and realize his brother is a shit, and that nothing good ever comes of it when he shows up for a family reunion)
Watching family guy, just took some of my meds (chlormethiazole, oxy) and about to light up a cigar. Playing fallout-tactics, where for some reason the map area I'm traveling through is INFESTED with packs of deathclaw, really goddamn huge, really bad tempered vicious mutated lizards with claws the length of a man's arm and big horns to gore people (and each other, and everything else that moves and doesn't put them down first with an autocannon and flamethrower assault)
Plus loads and loads of giant bloody scorpions and banditry. None of them much of a threat, anything humanoid enough to carry a gun rarely gets a chance to get a round off, before my snipers and heavy weapons specialist and grenadier unload on them with a barrage of lead and shrapnel, and the scorpions are more of a nuisance, like the bandit types because if takes up ammunition to exterminate them that could be better put to use on more dangerous enemies. One flamethrower burst and they end up as a pile of shrivelled up cooked scorpion on the half-shell, the other half usually being located in several different locations in chunk-sized installments. But its heavy fuel and packs a hefty amount of damage.
Trying to scout an area for a specific location, where I know there is an in-game 'special encounter' as they have in the rest of the fallout series, with a unique weapon I want, basically a super-soaker water gun modified to fire acid. Only place I can get it, and I KNOW its close. But an annoying bug means I'd lose any vehicles taken into the map square, but it doesn't HAPPEN without a vehicle present for some bugged reason. So I'm going to use and dump the light, fast scout buggy, because all my squad can fit in their APC, just so I can recover the acid launcher. Because I've a hunch that the game is about played through to the point some nasty ass robotic enemy of some kind is about to start turning up, and if there is one thing circuitry doesn't like, its being hit with a gout of acid. I've lost a couple of cheap hotplates due to their innards getting melted with acid fumes. So hopefully it'll be just as good on them. Haven't seen one yet, but they are likely to start turning up pretty soon. So I'm going to be needing that acid cannon and some energy weaponry. Got a laser pistol and a couple of shock batons somewhere, plus a few plasma grenades. But I could REALLY do with that acid launcher, maybe a few plasma rifles or at least a laser rifle or two. And sooner I can get hold of a gauss rifle or gauss pistol the better.
