Putting together a shopping 'wish list' on a temporary txt file, for some items I will require, need resupplies of etc.

I need for example, more isopropyl alcohol, more pure ethanol, 85%-90% H3PO4 (orthophosphoric acid), acetone, ethyl acetate, methylene chloride, ether, ferric chloride (anhydrous, although FeCl3 hydrate would work for the application I have in mind, it is a matter of adding carefully to water, but the hydrate cannot be simply roasted to prepare the anhydrous form, refluxing in thionyl chloride would be the typical way to do so, and thionyl chloride is precious, need some in fact., and the anhydrous ferric chloride has uses of other sorts that its hydrate does not share. A useful lewis acid catalyst in many applications, especially as the anhydrous kind. So its easier and provides a wider range of applications, to buy it anhydrous and prepare the hydrate, rather than the opposite way around.

Seem to remember I might be running low on anhydrous calcium chloride, too. Probably quite a few  other things I could do with too. Oh, yeah, some trichloroisocyanuric acid.

Waiting for the sweat to dry off from the 100 degree heat index outside.  Went grocery visiting and buying.

Watching 'trek, and going chemical shopping.

Drinking my first cup of coffee for the day.

Eating a bowl of porridge covered in a lake of molten golden syrup, and occasionally checking on a tiny, tiny little microscale lab beaker in the chemicals fridge to see what is happening to the toluene hopefully containing what I want from the stuff being extracted on the larger scale, using the 5ml beaker as a test, just 2.5ml of the toluene, a few drops of strong hydrochloric acid.

And...ooohh, goody, we have turbidity, meaning the PSE is indeed in the toluene and no gaaks have been fucking with the extraction.

Next test will be to evaporate both the toluene and the few drops of water under vacuum, leaving behind only crystals of PSE.

For some reason, in an INSANELY hyper-stimmy, flappy spazzy sort of mood. I actually just ended up taking a benzo, to calm it down a bit. And for me, thats saying something. Because I like my spesh side, and don't want to shut it up. But right now, or at least, before taking a mogadon (nitrazepam), I was just all over the place, unable to even lie down on the sofa and read or listen to music.

The spazz was making a break for it. And all but running up the walls to line stuff up on the ceiling.

And I want to be in one place for when star trek comes on haha. And then go up to the lab and let the little spazzy devil out to play, but in a more....controllable state. Little bugger had just completely up and gone for stark raving bonkers speshul. Think I'm going to take a couple of tizanidine too (a muscle relaxant and adrenaline/noradrenaline release inhibitor) because fucking christ, even morphine, oxy and chlormethiazole together weren't able to keep a lid on my inner spazz before.

I can't even remember the last time I actually took anything by way of meds to shut it up some. Let alone had to benzo it into submission. But fuck me, if I flapped any harder, I'd have ended up taking off. Fun, sure, but that was too much.
