Wow....damn....if there is a god of food...he must have picked that moment to pour his blessing down upon this mycophagist. He just found some dried Morchella elata (black morel), a big bag full of them.
Just finished, very, very carefully, using a scalpel, removing the internals of a fresh chilli, of a very, very hot kind. Wearing gloves, I used the surgical scalpel from the lab to remove inner epithelium, ribs, and seeds before adding the chilli to the crockpot.
All thats left to do now, is add some Chalciporus piperatus (peppery bolete) and Amanita muscaria (the famous fly agaric) Then fry up some oyster mushrooms in butter, seperately, and serve.
