It isn't an allergy casanova, all opioids cause histamine release. I take an antihistamine with mine, although its not always completely effective, and some opiates cause more itching than others. My oxy doesn't really do it enough to bother me, but codeine is a right bugger for it.
My only allergies are to penicillins and presumably other beta-lactam antibiotics, and possibly, although unconfirmed a mild allergy to tetracyclines.
Hmm?
I wonder if the NHS has ever taken a position on what antihistamines are indicated for?
Here it is
http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Antihistamines/Pages/What-is-it-used-for.aspx Antihistamines are mainly used to help control symptoms of health conditions associated with allergic reactions. Well that certainly narrows to focus a bit.
What else are antihistamines used for Lestat?
According to the NHS article antihistamines are also used to treat stomach ulcers, insomnia and motion sickness.
Out of a) allergies b) stomach ulcers c) insomnia and d) motion sickness, which of those 4 conditions most closely resemble your stated symptoms as reason for wanting antihistamines?
Your quibbling over terms amounts to shaving shit off of a turd.
