Its cooled off here for the past two days or so, but its still been too hot. But at least yesterday I was able to get a full day done in the lab, without feeling like I was about to pass out from heat stroke.
But fuck...owww...my leg is hurting like hell. Just waiting for the poppy pod tea to kick in that I had a few minutes ago. I think it should hit pretty hard, as it was incredibly bitter, to a most unusual degree. It usually is bitter, and its always fairly noxious stuff to smell/taste but this batch was awful.
Chugging down several pints of warm, brownish-grey used bath water looking, stinking, bitter, revolting slop is never pleasant, but this...ugh. I almost chucked it right back up again the moment I finished swilling my mouth out with drink just at the after-stink. I did use a very large batch of pods though, so unsurprising.
Will toss the brewed, spent grounds into my ongoing extraction later when I can move my leg again though, to exhaust them of every remaining scrap of goodness (or foulness depending how one looks at it:P).
