Flu has gotten hold of the oldest.
The youngest had an aura and all migraine yesterday.
I feel the flu creeping up on me. Won't give in yet, another open night at a secondary school to attend with the youngest. It's good to have her, and myself, as informed as possible.

Ughh. Hope it feels better soon.

Used to brew tea bags, squeeze them out a bit and stick them in the freezer to cool for 10 min or so for the kid and I everytime he brought home pink eye.

No miracle cure, but it helped with the burning and itching...

I was thinking about doing a variation of that.  Simply put the greens, tomato, veggies in large plastic zip lock bags and put the meat and cheese and any salty condiments (olives or croutons usually) in another bag.  Then just toss it all in the bowl.  I figure it shouldn't take too much time to do all this once every 3 days.  I could even package some crackers ahead of time.  We eat such large salads that I'm sure a canning jar wouldn't hold it.
