It's Christmas morning and I'm pissed off and shut in my room to avoid my asshole brother. Luckily my family opens gifts on Christmas Eve in the evening, so I don't have to go down there until it's time for food.

Brother, niece and his partner are arriving tonight. They're making my mum shut the dog in the garage for 3 days straight. We couldn't have my niece exposed to small harmless animals now could we ::). And the dog is the real reason he tried to lie and weasel his way out of staying at mums. Maybe I should go over and rescue the dog, I'm just worried about how noisy he'd be and how much he'd petrify the cat.

Seriously, if they come knock on my door anytime during their visit I'm not answering. Fuck off if they try to inflict their standards on me.

I'll see how the dog goes tonight and I'll get him tomorrow. I'll have to take him for walks for him to pee and poo. There's a lot of stimuli for him to bark at here though (the busy road, the pub with yahoos over the fence, birds, people walking down the driveway etc etc). And I'm worried the neighbours might snitch on me to strata. I was supposed to ask their permission to even have the cat, which I didn't do. Something they've put on the agenda for the AGM I bet :zoinks:

Must have been one hell of a story.  I can only imagine considering the stories you tell here.
