The house I was to work on next is having issues with the building inspector over technicalities that don't make much of a difference, this is never a good sign

Shabbadabbadooh.. heard someone, a meteorologist on the radio, talking about that the tomorrow's temperature could very well be record breaking. Record now is 38.6C and..

..I'm making plans to move to Greenland. Nah not really but, oinky doinky, Ts that high and, of course, damp as a mother føcker.. I..

Um, how some of you cope with even higher Ts, kinda beats me.

went to cut the grass. someone had stolen my mower.

fuck it, went and bought another. Stuck a broken down mower in the spot that I used to store it. Let them steal that

guess I was lucky they didnt steal my riding mower

Yikes, that is warmish.  My sister lives in Texas and it rarely gets below 95 degrees in the daytime there in the summertime.  and she doesn't have A/C.

Think, to have A/C grows in popularity in this country.. but ja, I don't have A/C. It could help me (cool down a bit in Summer) but they tend to use a lot of energy, Watt-wise.

Miss my basement (in Amersfoort) on these hot damp days. Ts there stayed between p/m 10C (in Winter) and p/m 18C (on hot days). Perfect.

A simple fan, to create a bit of movement in the air, helps. And, a wet towel hanging to dry cools the air, because of the energy needed to dry the towel. (The last bit does not help when it is too moist and sticky)

Occasional cooling of wrists and ankles helps too.

Most new houses here have central AC.  We have only a couple window units and don't use them that much
