I love them home but I also like the solitude that comes when they go to school.  My wife is a teacher and her last day is today so it will be a full house till summer school starts in two weeks

That's true. I have someone home almost all the time since I homeschool my oldest so I'm not used to solitude. It's harder for me to adapt to being on my own than it is to have someone around. Although I'm choosy on the people that are here. It's only certain people I can have in my space all the time. Now that the kids are at their Dad's sometimes I'm just getting used to it.
