The new forum I 'lurk' a bit since two days closes when you press a link posted there. Site's gone and link/site appears. That's.. well, not really handy in my opinion. 

They have a limited number of views before you have to join? There's a mod that does that.

Nah, think it's just a very 'old fashioned' type of forum software/representation (phpBB version..?). Well, seems.. ja, silly really..

Here/on other fora, a link posted by someone, when pressed, opens in a new tab.. and one 'stays connected' with the site in the previous tab (so to say). There, forum connection's gone and the linked site pops up..

Well, no biggie.. just seems a bit, dunno.. Commodore 64 styled there.

But hey, I'm whining.. folks seem okay there and.. ja, I can express myself in my own language there (for a change).

I have visited a phpBB site like that and I can right click the link instead of left clicking it and then I have the option to open the link in a new tab or in a new window.  I wonder if that would work for you?

Pressing the control button, while clicking a link, will make a new window open.
